Introduction Post

Hey guys and gals. This is my blog (obviously). There's not much to say about it, I guess, other than to describe what it is. Well, basically I'm going to post up lines of music that I hear (from my itunes/ipod, the radio, etc) and post how I feel about them. I know, it doesn't sound like anything special, but it should get better as I have more time to flesh the idea out and work some stuff up. If you like (and yes, I expect this will happen whether I ask you guys to or not), feel free to post up what you think about what I'm saying about songs and/or post up songs that you would like me to respond to. I won't promise that there won't be occasional rants between the music, of course, as something's bound to happen that's music related, or just related to life in general that I'll want to rant about.

I also like to give credit where credit is due, as you'll most likely find anytime sooner or later. The first thing I want to give credit to is actually a person. I'm creating this blog because one of my friends put up a blog that didn't seem like mindless ranting and a daily journal of their day to day lives (i.e. she wasn't all "OMG, no one understands me! I'm all alone in this cruel world because I saw a dying rose run over by a car" etc). Anyways, her blog, www.straightupjank.blogspot.com is pretty funny to read, so I'd like to give her credit for giving me the idea for a blog.

Anyways, I'm warning you now that the music I talk about will not be made up mostly of today's pop. Don't get me wrong, there will be some, but it's not going to be a predominant factor in this blog. There will be country, rock, alternative, heavy metal, metal, power metal, foreign music, holiday music, some r&b, and almost no rap (I don't like rap, which explains why there won't be much rap on here). Maybe some musical music, some choral/classical music, and some inspirational. It all just depends on what I've heard when I update. That's another thing. I'm not going ot guaruntee an update everyday, as I'm a college student and don't have all the time in the world to update everyday. If I don't update for a day or two, I'll try to make the next blog-post bigger than normal.

Alright, so, I'm going to start off by asking you what songs you want me to listen to and comment on, as right now, I'm drawing a blank on music I want to comment on. If I think of anything, I'll throw it up real quick!
